Community Bible Church Sanctuary
Community Bible Church of San Antonio, Texas held their very first meeting on May 26, 1990, in a conference room at a local hotel. Since then, the church has grown significantly and now occupies a 51,000 square foot campus and a community park..
This expansion project involved the design and construction of a 100,000 square foot worship facility with a wide range of features. This includes a large 3,600-seat sanctuary, a 300-seat rehearsal room for the choir, a recording studio, music ministry offices, two coffee bars, a bookstore, and multiple welcome centers.
Upon arrival, visitors are immediately drawn to the two prominent entry towers located next to the colonnade. The spacious lobby is designed to accommodate traffic for multiple Sunday services and also serves as a gathering area for various church events.
Inside the Sanctuary, the seating arrangement caters to different preferences, with a sloped floor in the front and theater-style seating in the rear and wings. Every seat offers a clear and unobstructed view. To enhance the worship experience, the sanctuary is equipped with a comprehensive theatrical lighting dimming system, two large rear projection screens, and a powerful sound system, making it a technologically advanced space.
